INFORMATICS METHODS FOR THE ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF LARGE GENOMIC DATASETS

The idea for this priority program arose in the context of preparing the recommendations of the Technology Council of the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany on progress in  biotechnology in August 1996. A short version of the proposal was presented to DFG on Dec. 1, 1996. The proposal was worked out during the first months of the year 1997. On April 25th, 1997, the priority program was accepted by DFG.
