Schloss Hohenkammer is situated 35km north of Munich (in Bavaria), Germany. Options for travel are as follows:
By car: Take the highway (Autobahn) A9 Munich-Nürnberg and leave at the exit Allershausen (about 40 km to the north of Munich). From there the journey is only 5 km to Hohenkammer.
By train: At the Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) in Munich take the S-Bahn S2 to Petershausen. Take a taxi from Petershausen (6 km; 10 -15DM). The last S-Bahn (S2) arrives shortly after midnight at Petershausen. Please call a cab/taxi Taxi Müller (08137) 5229 or Taxi Wiedel (08137) 99005) in advance.
By airplane: Fly to Munich (Franz-Josef-Strauss) airport and take the S-Bahn S8 to Munich Hauptbahnhof (Main Station). Change to train S2 going to Petershausen. This will take about 2 hours. If you prefer going by cab/taxi from the airport to Schloß Hohenkammer, it is about 25 km away and will cost about 80 DM.
