Interactive global Illumination

Top left: The image of a chrome-plated duck shows mirroring and shadow casting
effects and has been rather expsensive to compute.
Top right, bottom left, bottom right: For displaying new views of the scene,
results of previous computations are re-used. Reflection patterns that have
already been computed are combined hierarchically with new results. These
computations are pretty efficient. The user only sees the resulting image
(bottom right) at interactive frame rates of about 15 fps.
