Internship Offers

Our group has limited internship opportunities every year. To be considered for an internship, you have to have completed at least 3 years of an undergraduate program in Computer Science or related areas (at the start date of the proposed internship). Priority will be given to outstanding candidates willing to stay for extended internships (6 months or longer).

To be considered for an internship in the summer (typically starting in May), please send your applications in no earlier than December 1 and no later than January 31. We finalize offers during the month of February.

We will provide you with financial support: 715 Euros/month which are exempt of taxes or social-security deductions. You would have to cover all your living expenses from this including housing, but Saarbruecken has low living costs - the amount is indeed sufficient to cover the expenses. We will reimburse your travel costs to and from Saarbruecken.

Your resume which includes a list of courses you would have completed before the start of the internship, your grades so far and any previous projects or internships.
The dates you would be willing to stay here.
Areas you are interested in working on (please be as specific as possible). We expect you to go through our website and get an idea of the kind of work that we do. Please note that you will be able to work in your area of interest only if projects are available at the time of your internship.

The subject of your mail should be: "Internship application: Summer 20xx".
