Summary

I am a PhD candidate at Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik in Saarbrücken. I do research under the supervision of Karol Myszkowski in the field of human perception issues in context of rendering, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) as well as video processing in Department of Computer Graphics. My work focuses on image quality enhancement as well as retargeting techniques in the context of new display technologies. I work on techniques, which by exploiting properties of the human visual system, allow exceeding physical limitations of off-the-shelf displays and improve quality of displayed content.
