My work centres on explainable and interactive AI. I am particularly interested in designing models that make their reasoning processes accessible and open to revision. A key focus of my research is on concept-level explanations that allow users to engage with a model’s internal representations in a transparent and verifiable manner. In addition, I work on improving reasoning in large-scale vision–language applications, aiming to combine interpretability with robust performance in real-world settings.
Previously, I was a PostDoc at the AI & ML Lab, TU Darmstadt, in cooperation with AlephAlpha within Lab1141, working on robustness and reliability of vision–language models. I completed my PhD at the AI & ML Lab, Computer Science Department, TU Darmstadt, where my work focused on neuro-symbolic approaches to explainable AI. Before that, I studied computer science at Goethe University Frankfurt and cognitive science at the University of Osnabrück.
